Here at Prestige Divers we offer the PADI Open Water Course, we can stage this over 3/4 days, it really depends on you, and how you want to structure the course depending on what time you have available.
 

One of our friendly staff we pick you up from your Hotel, then we depart to the beautiful Phuket Boat Lagoon and arrive at our brand new diveschool, where upon you’ll meet our PADI Instructor, whilst having coffee on our rooftop terrace, this is where our PADI Instructor will introduce and explain the Open Water Course. Then we move on to our classroom, where you will watch the PADI Open Water Course DVD, you will watch 3 chapters of the video, where our Instructor will explain the Theory of Diving, for example breathing at depth, streamlining your equipment, Buddy System, signs that we use under the water and much more.

We will complete the knowledge reviews in the PADI Open Water Diver Course Manual, then a short easy quiz, after each segment. Once we have finished the Theory side, it’s then time for lunch, we have a wide variety of Restaurants here at the Phuket Boat Lagoon so you have many choices from which to choose from. After we have finished our lunch it’s time for the confined sections in the pool, demonstrating Equipment set up and dis-assemble so you get an understanding of the equipment you will be using.

When we are ready we will go into our pool here at the Phuket Boat Lagoon. Then your Instructor will ask you to do a 200 metre freestyle swim, followed by a 10 minute survival float. We then try our Scuba Equipment on in the pool and start the confined sections of the Course. Section 1 to 5 (if 3 day course), if 4 day, Sections 1 to 3, now once the Student have met all the performance requirements, stated by PADI, we go back into the classroom and complete the rest of the theory (if 3 day course) if it’s a 4 day course we will return the next day to complete Theory and Pool Session’s.

Same again my fellow diver’s only this time we will take you to a depth of 18 meters on both dives, there’s a few skills to do and once they are completed, and all the theory and exams are done, you will then be officially a PADI Open Water Diver. Congratulations guy’s you’re on the first step of the PADI ladder.
